About heath-whale
Developing exceptional broadcast presenters since 2012
Our Story
heath-whale began with a simple observation: many talented individuals struggle to translate their expertise into compelling on-camera presence. Founded by former broadcast professionals, our organisation was established to bridge this gap and help aspiring presenters develop the skills needed to succeed in modern media.
Over the past twelve years, we have refined our training methodology through work with hundreds of clients across Australia. From news anchors and sports commentators to corporate spokespeople and podcast hosts, our programs have helped professionals at every stage of their media journey.
Today, we operate from our purpose-built training facility in Melbourne, equipped with broadcast-standard equipment that replicates the environments our clients will encounter in their careers.
Our Values
These principles guide everything we do at heath-whale
Excellence
We hold ourselves and our clients to the highest standards. Good enough is never enough when preparing for broadcast.
Authenticity
We believe the most compelling presenters are those who bring their genuine personality to their work while maintaining professionalism.
Practical Focus
Theory has its place, but our training emphasises hands-on practice in realistic environments with actionable feedback.
Continuous Growth
The media landscape constantly evolves, and so do we. Our programs reflect current industry practices and emerging platforms.
Our Approach
Every presenter is different, and cookie-cutter training rarely produces exceptional results. When you work with heath-whale, we begin by understanding your current abilities, your goals, and the specific contexts in which you will be presenting.
From there, we design a training pathway that addresses your unique needs. Some clients require intensive work on vocal technique, while others need to develop their ability to think quickly under pressure. Our modular approach allows us to focus precisely where it matters most.
Throughout your training, you will work in our fully equipped studio, gaining comfort with the technical environment while developing your presenting skills. Every session is recorded for detailed review, allowing you to see your progress and identify areas for continued improvement.
